About Me
I’m Megan Hayes, a freelance British Illustrator and Concept Artist, based in Cambridge, UK. I'm currently working towards my degree, BA(Hons) Illustration at Cambridge School of Art.
I am experienced in concept development with an innate ability for both traditional and digital art forms. My work is vibrant and extremely versatile, frequently exploring themes like mythology and the supernatural.
My inspiration to pursue a creative career was influenced by my childhood experiences with charming and skilfully crafted video games and 2D media, like the art of the Professor Layton Series and works from the game developer, Cing.

A: I accept commissions for personal use through Artistree. I offer both stylised character illustrations and portraits, so let me know which option you're interested in and share the reference pictures or photos you'd like me to work from. Commissioning me is quick and easy, and if you're unsure of anything, no need to worry - I'll guide you through the process and send regular updates.
Q: How long does it typically take to complete a commission?
A: I aim to deliver each commissioned piece within 2 weeks, but a specific date can be agreed if you're looking for a faster turnaround for a special occasion or an urgent project deadline.
Q: Can I license your artwork for commercial use?
A: Yes, I am happy to offer commercial license for commissioned pieces; the rate varies from commissions for personal use and will be agreed item-by-item.
