Megan Hayes is an Illustrator based in Cambridge currently studying BA Illustration in her final year at Cambridge School of Art.

 

She merges a technical curiosity from her background in Games Design with vibrant, tactile analogue media to create playful, versatile and engaging illustrative solutions to a brief. Her body of commercial projects includes editorial illustration, narrative illustration and moving illustration as well as creating live visual minutes.

 

Her work is often inspired and informed by observing subjects from life on location, and then takes shape using precise line as a geometric foundation on the page to trace a form against expressive, sculpting use of colour and tone, moving between analogue and digital methods as part of her practiced workflow.
