Megan Hayes is freelance British Illustrator and Concept Artist, based in Cambridge, UK. She is a second year undergraduate studying BA(Hons) Illustration at Cambridge School of Art.

Megan is experienced in concept development, with an innate ability for both traditional and digital art forms. Her work is vibrant and extremely versatile, frequently exploring themes like mythology and the supernatural.​ Her inspiration to pursue a creative career was influenced by her childhood experiences with charming and skilfully crafted video games and 2D media, like the art of the Professor Layton Series and works from the game developer, Cing which grew into her formative education in Creative Digital Media, specialising in Games Art, while studying at Access Creative Lincoln.

After her education in Digital Media she worked full time in the UK video game industry, which informed her decision to specialise in her creative practice further when her contract ended. Megan is currently a full time BA(Hons) Illustration student at Cambridge School of Art, having had the privilege to work with multiple organisations during her studies; producing a series of reportage illustrations for Cambridge Archaeological Unit which have been published and distributed around Cambridge in her first year; creating live visual notes for Collusion at Art Tech Play 2025, Cambridge.
